# Clear Orphaned Expenditure Apportionments

Remove legacy-orphan allocations from every live expense, employee
salary split and depreciating asset on the claim.

Valid current-tree allocations on a partially orphaned split are preserved.
An expense with no allocation left returns to the standard unassigned /
non-R&D state. Linked refunds are refreshed from their originals through
the normal inheritance mirror.
