# Delete Comment

`DELETE /claims/{claim_id}/comments/{comment_id}`

Permanently delete a comment. Admin only.

Deleting a root comment removes the entire thread through the
``parent_id`` foreign key's ``ON DELETE CASCADE``. Deleting a reply only
removes that reply (and any descendants).
