# Change feed

`GET /v1/changes`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://citedtravel.com`
- URL: `https://citedtravel.com/v1/changes`
- Auth: one of:
  - none
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

## Query parameters

- `since` string, date
- `category` string
- `country` string
- `limit` integer

## Response `200`

Changes

- ChangeFeed
  - `since` string, date, required: Rows with changed_on on or after this date (inclusive).
  - `dataset_version` string
  - `data` Change[], required: Changes, newest first.
    - `seq` integer
    - `dataset_version` string: Dataset in which the change was detected.
    - `changed_on` string, date, required: When OUR pipeline detected the change (the dataset's build date), not when the rule took effect. Same value as detected_at; kept for compatibility.
    - `detected_at` string, date, required: When our pipeline detected the change (= changed_on). Not the date the rule took effect.
    - `effective_date` string, date, nullable: When the rule itself took effect, only if an official source states it; otherwise null.
    - `change_reason` 'source_update' | 'pipeline_fix' | 'rule_change' | 'new_coverage' | 'null', nullable: Why our data changed, when known: source_update = the cited official text changed; pipeline_fix = same official text, our extraction was corrected; rule_change = the source states a new rule (with effective_date); new_coverage = a fact we did not publish before; null = not determined.
    - `fact_id` string, required
    - `country` string, required
    - `category` string, required
    - `change` 'added' | 'updated' | 'removed', required
    - `old_value` unknown
    - `new_value` unknown
    - `source_url` string, nullable: Main source of the fact.
