# Delete an outbound webhook

`DELETE /webhook/{webhook_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://circleci.com/api/v2`
- URL: `https://circleci.com/api/v2/webhook/{webhook_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `Circle-Token`
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in query parameter `circle-token`

Deletes an existing outbound webhook by its unique ID.

## Path parameters

- `webhook_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

A confirmation message.

- WebhookDeleted
  - `message` string: Response message.

## Other responses

- `400`: Unexpected request body provided.
- `401`: Credentials provided are invalid.
- `404`: Entity not found.
- `500`: Internal server error.
