# List all environment variables

`GET /project/{project-slug}/envvar`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://circleci.com/api/v2`
- URL: `https://circleci.com/api/v2/project/{project-slug}/envvar`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `Circle-Token`
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in query parameter `circle-token`

Returns four 'x' characters, in addition to the last four ASCII characters of the value, consistent with the display of environment variable values on the CircleCI website.

## Path parameters

- `project-slug` string, required

## Response `200`

A sequence of environment variables.

- object
  - `items` object[], required
    - `name` string, required: The name of the environment variable.
    - `value` string, required: The value of the environment variable.
    - `created-at` string: The creation timestamp of the environment variable.
  - `next_page_token` string, required: A token to pass as a `page-token` query parameter to return the next page of results.

## Other responses

- `default`: Error response.
