# Set the decision settings

`PATCH /owner/{ownerID}/context/{context}/decision/settings`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://circleci.com/api/v2`
- URL: `https://circleci.com/api/v2/owner/{ownerID}/context/{context}/decision/settings`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `Circle-Token`
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in query parameter `circle-token`

This endpoint allows modifying decision settings (eg enable/disable policy evaluation)

## Path parameters

- `ownerID` string, required
- `context` string, required

## Request body

- DecisionSettings
  - `enabled` boolean

## Response `200`

Decision settings successfully set.

  - `enabled` boolean

## Other responses

- `400`: The request is malformed (e.g, a given path parameter is invalid)
- `401`: The request is unauthorized
- `403`: The user is forbidden from making this request
- `500`: Something unexpected happened on the server.
