# Groups in an organization

`GET /organizations/{org_id}/groups`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://circleci.com/api/v2`
- URL: `https://circleci.com/api/v2/organizations/{org_id}/groups`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `Circle-Token`
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in query parameter `circle-token`

Get all the groups in an organization.

## Query parameters

- `limit` integer
- `page-token` string

## Response `200`

Successfully get all the groups in an organization. Results are paginated.

- Groups
  - `items` Group[]
    - `id` string, uuid: Unique identifier for group
    - `name` string: Name of group
    - `description` string: Description field on group
  - `next_page_token` string, nullable
  - `total_count` integer

## Other responses

- `403`: None or insufficient credentials provided.
- `404`: Entity not found.
- `500`: Internal server error.
