# User Information

`GET /me`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://circleci.com/api/v2`
- URL: `https://circleci.com/api/v2/me`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `Circle-Token`
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in query parameter `circle-token`

Provides information about the user that is currently signed in.

## Response `200`

User login information.

- object
  - `avatar_url` string, required: URL to the user's avatar on the VCS
  - `id` string, uuid, required: The unique ID of the user.
  - `login` string, required: The login information for the user on the VCS.
  - `name` string, required: The name of the user.

## Other responses

- `default`: Error response.
