# Get Environment

`GET /deploy/environments/{environment_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://circleci.com/api/v2`
- URL: `https://circleci.com/api/v2/deploy/environments/{environment_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `Circle-Token`
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in query parameter `circle-token`

Allows getting an environment for a given environment ID.

## Path parameters

- `environment_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Environment

- Environment
  - `created_at` string, date-time: The time when the environment was created
  - `description` string: Short description given to the environment
  - `id` string, uuid: The environment ID
  - `labels` Label[]: The labels associated to the environment
    - `key` string: The key of the label
    - `value` string: The value of the label
  - `name` string: The environment name
  - `updated_at` string, date-time: The time when the environment was updated

## Other responses

- `400`: Unexpected request body provided.
- `404`: Entity not found.
- `500`: Internal server error.
