# Get Component

`GET /deploy/components/{component_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://circleci.com/api/v2`
- URL: `https://circleci.com/api/v2/deploy/components/{component_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `Circle-Token`
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in query parameter `circle-token`

Get the details of a component by ID.

## Path parameters

- `component_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful response.

- Component
  - `id` string, uuid: The component ID
  - `name` string: The component name
  - `project_id` string, uuid: The project ID of the component
  - `labels` Label[]: The labels associated with the component
    - `key` string: The key of the label
    - `value` string: The value of the label
  - `release_count` integer: The number of releases for this component
  - `created_at` string, date-time: The time when the component was created
  - `updated_at` string, date-time: The time when the component was updated

## Other responses

- `400`: Unexpected request body provided.
- `404`: Entity not found.
- `500`: Internal server error.
