# Delete context restriction

`DELETE /context/{context_id}/restrictions/{restriction_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://circleci.com/api/v2`

- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `Circle-Token`
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in query parameter `circle-token`

Deletes a project, expression or group restriction from a context.

## Response `200`

Successful response.

- RestrictionDeleted
  - `message` string: Response message

## Other responses

- `400`: Context restriction ID provided is invalid.
- `401`: Credentials provided are invalid.
- `404`: Entity not found.
- `429`: API rate limits exceeded.
- `500`: Internal server error.
