# Suggest the required fielding time for a target group

Suggests the optimal number of days required to field a target group based on its specifications. You can use this endpoint to estimate fielding time before creating a target group. You'll need to provide details like the locale, price, length of interview (LOI), incidence rate (IR), and desired number of completes.

## Request body

- SuggestDaysRequest: The set of parameters required to generate a fielding time suggestion.
  - `locale` string, required: Unique text code of the locale.
  - `collects_pii` boolean: Indicates whether or not the target group collects Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
  - `price` SuggestDaysPrice, required: A monetary value for the Intelligent Calendar day suggestion. This endpoint accepts `USD` only.
    - `value` string, required: The monetary value, represented as a string to maintain precision. Must be a positive decimal greater than 0.
    - `currency_code` 'USD', required: The three-letter ISO 4217 currency code, in uppercase. This endpoint supports `USD` only; any other currency code is rejected with a 400 error.
  - `length_of_interview` integer, required: The expected median length of the interview, in minutes.
  - `incidence_rate` number, required: The expected incidence rate (IR) of the target audience, expressed as a decimal (e.g., 0.5 for 50%). Must be greater than 0 and less than 1; the values 0 and 1 are rejected.
  - `completes` integer, required: The desired number of completed interviews.

## Response `200`

The suggested number of days was calculated successfully.

- SuggestDaysResponse: The suggested number of days required for fielding.
  - `days` integer: The suggested number of days required to field the target group.

## Other responses

- `400`: A request is not valid and can't be processed.
- `401`: Authentication credentials are missing or invalid, or the caller doesn't have the role required for this operation.
- `500`: A request failed due to an internal error.
