# Creates an exclusion group

`POST /demand/accounts/{account_id}/exclusion-groups`

Creates a new exclusion group for your account and returns its unique ID.
Key behaviors:
* You can create multiple exclusion groups with the same tag. * A target group can belong to multiple exclusion groups. * An exclusion group can contain a maximum of 100 target groups.

## Path parameters

- `account_id` integer, required: The account's unique identifier.

## Request body

- CreateExclusionGroupRequest: The details required to create a new exclusion group.
  - `tag` string, required: A user-defined tag that acts as a name for the exclusion group.
  - `description` string, required: A user-defined description that explains the purpose of the exclusion group

## Response `201`

The exclusion group was created successfully.

- CreateExclusionGroupResponse
  - `exclusion_group_id` string, required: A unique identifier for the exclusion group, in ULID format.

## Other responses

- `400`: A request is not valid and can't be processed.
- `401`: A request is unauthorized.
- `403`: A requested is forbidden.
- `500`: A request failed due to an internal error.
