# Deletes a webhook for an account

`DELETE /accounts/{account_id}/webhooks/{webhook_id}`

Permanently deletes a webhook subscription.

This endpoint uses optimistic locking. You must provide the webhook's current version in the `If-Match` header to confirm the deletion.
You can get this value from the `ETag` header of a `GET` request for this resource.

## Response `204`

The webhook was deleted successfully.

## Other responses

- `401`: A request is unauthorized.
- `403`: A requested is forbidden.
- `404`: A requested resource isn't found.
- `500`: A request failed due to an internal error.
