# Put Confirm Maintenance

`PUT /servers/{server_name_or_id}/maintenance`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.chutes.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.chutes.ai/servers/{server_name_or_id}/maintenance`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Request maintenance: purge instances and mark server for upgrade.

Returns 202 with state "pending" when sole-survivor instances must keep serving until a
replacement is hot elsewhere; the server is promoted to maintenance automatically.
