# Get Tee Instance Evidence

`GET /instances/{instance_id}/evidence`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.chutes.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.chutes.ai/instances/{instance_id}/evidence`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Get TEE evidence for a specific instance (quote, GPU evidence, certificate).

Args:
    instance_id: Instance ID
    nonce: User-provided nonce (64 hex characters, 32 bytes)
    include_amd: Include AMD SEV-SNP instances (see the AMD evidence rollout in api.server.util)

Returns:
    TeeInstanceEvidence with quote, gpu_evidence, and certificate

Raises:
    404: Instance not found
    400: Invalid nonce format or instance not TEE-enabled
    403: User cannot access instance
    409: AMD SEV-SNP instance and include_amd is false (Deprecation and Sunset headers name
        the date AMD instances start being included by default), or the instance is not
        active and verified (stale; refresh the instance list)
    429: Rate limit exceeded (per caller, plus a global ceiling; 4xx responses only count
        toward a looser cap on all attempts)
    500: Server attestation failures
    502: The instance's attestation proxy could not be reached or returned an error

## Query parameters

- `nonce` string, required
- `include_amd` boolean: Include AMD SEV-SNP instances (tee_type snp: the quote is an SEV-SNP attestation report). Set true once your verifier handles them. The default becomes true on the date in the Sunset header.
