# Cancel Research

`POST /v1/research/{id}/cancel`

Cancel a running research task.

Sets status to 'cancelled' in the database. The deepresearch worker
periodically checks this flag and will gracefully exit.

- ResearchStatus — Lightweight status response for create, refresh, cancel, and status endpoints.
