# Validate Pipeline

`POST /v1/pipeline/validate`

Validate a pipeline configuration without creating it.

## Headers

- `authorization` string, nullable

## Request body

- ValidatePipelineRequest — Request to validate a pipeline configuration.
  - `steps` PipelineStep[], required — Pipeline steps to validate
    - `type` string, required — Step type: fetch, process, chunk, refine, export, write
    - `component` string, required — Component name (e.g., 'recursive', 'overlap')
    - `params` object — Component parameters

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- ValidatePipelineResponse — Response from pipeline validation.
  - `valid` boolean, required — Whether the pipeline configuration is valid
  - `message` string, required — Validation result message
  - `errors` string[], nullable — List of validation errors if invalid
