# Semantic Chunk

`POST /v1/chunk/semantic`

Semantic chunking endpoint.

Chunks text using semantic similarity between sentences.

- SemanticChunkerRequest — Request model for semantic chunking.
  - `text` union — Text or list of texts to chunk

  - `file` FileReference — File reference for chunking with OCR.
    - `type` string, required — File type: 'document' or 'base64;extension'
    - `content` string, required — Filename (for document) or base64 data
  - `ocr` string — OCR provider (mistral or gemini)
  - `embedding_model` string — Embedding model to use
  - `threshold` number — Similarity threshold
  - `chunk_size` integer — Size of each chunk
  - `similarity_window` integer — Window size for similarity calculation
  - `min_sentences_per_chunk` integer — Minimum sentences per chunk
  - `min_characters_per_sentence` integer — Minimum characters per sentence
  - `delim` union — Sentence delimiters

  - `include_delim` 'prev' | 'next', nullable — Where to include delimiter
  - `skip_window` integer — Skip window size
  - `filter_window` integer — Filter window size
  - `filter_polyorder` integer — Filter polynomial order
