# Update command definition

`PATCH /api/v2/devices/{id}/commands/{commandId}`

## Request

- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key` and API key in header `X-Organization-Id`

Replace an existing command definition on a digital device.

**Required scope:** `commands:write`
