# Create connection

`POST /api/connections`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.chirpwireless.io`
- URL: `https://api.chirpwireless.io/api/connections`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key` and API key in header `X-Organization-Id`

Create a new device connection with type and configuration.

**Required scope:** `connections:write`

## Request body

  - `connectorId` integer, required
  - `name` string, required
  - `organizationId` string, required

## Response `200`

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: Insufficient permissions (missing required scope)
