# Remote MCP endpoint (JSON-RPC 2.0)

Model Context Protocol, Streamable HTTP transport, stateless, application/json responses only (no SSE). Protocol 2026-07-28: every request carries _meta io.modelcontextprotocol/protocolVersion and clientCapabilities, mirrored in MCP-Protocol-Version, Mcp-Method and Mcp-Name headers. Legacy 2025-11-25, 2025-06-18 and 2025-03-26 clients use initialize; no session id is issued. Tools: check_website, check_agent_readability, explain_error, list_errors, get_error, list_status_sites, get_service_info. 16 KiB body, 60 requests per minute per client, check tools share the HTTP API limits. GET and DELETE return 405.

- `406`: Accept must allow application/json.
- `413`: Body larger than 16 KiB.
- `415`: Content-Type must be application/json.
- `429`: Too many MCP requests.
