# Create a control profile

`POST /issuing/controls/control-profiles`

Creates a control profile.

## Request body

- AddControlProfileRequest: The control profile to create
  - `name` string, required: Control profile name.

## Response `201`

Control profile created successfully

- AddUpdateControlProfileResponse: The control profile's details.
  - `id` string, required: The control profile's unique identifier.
  - `name` string, required: Control profile name.
  - `created_date` string, date-time, required: Creation date of the control profile.
  - `last_modified_date` string, date-time, required
  - `_links` ControlProfileLinks, required: The links related to the control profile.
    - `self` IssuingLink, required
      - `href` string, required: The link URL.
      - `actions` string[], required: The HTTP Methods that can be performed on the link.
      - `types` string[], required: The Content Types for the link to the resource

- `503`: Service Unavailable
