# Delete an instrument

`DELETE /instruments/{id}`

Delete a payment instrument.

Instrument deleted successfully

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Instrument not found or not associated with client
- `409`: A concurrent update conflict occurred. Retry the request.
- `500`: Internal Error
