# Delete a customer

`DELETE /customers/{identifier}`

Delete a customer and all of their linked payment instruments.

## Path parameters

- `identifier` string, required

## Response `204`

Customer deleted successfully

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Customer not found or not associated with client
- `409`: A concurrent update conflict occurred. Retry the request.
