# Request an access token

`POST /connect/token`

OAuth endpoint to exchange your access key ID and access key secret for an access token.

## Request body `application/x-www-form-urlencoded`

  - `grant_type` 'client_credentials'
  - `client_id` string: Access key ID
  - `client_secret` string: Access key secret
  - `scope` string: The access key scope

## Response `200`

OK - A successful access token response as per [RFC6749](https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6749#section-4.4.3)
