# Upload a payment processing certificate

`POST /applepay/certificates`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://{prefix}.api.sandbox.checkout.com`

- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Upload a payment processing certificate. This will allow you to start processing payments via Apple Pay.

## Request body

- ApplePayCertificateRequest: Certificate content to be added an account
  - `content` string, required: The certificate content

## Response `201`

Certificate uploaded successfully

- ApplePayCertificateResponse: Response for an attached certificate for an account
  - `id` string, required: The identifier of the account domain
  - `public_key_hash` string, required: Hash of the certificate public key
  - `valid_from` string, date-time, required: When the certificate is valid from
  - `valid_until` string, date-time, required: When the certificate is valid until

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `422`: Invalid data was sent
