# Remove a proposal alternative

`DELETE /api/v1/events/{event_id}/proposal_alternatives/{id}`

## Request

Removes an alternative and every package in it. When only one alternative would be left, that last one is dissolved as well: its packages stay on the proposal, no longer grouped as an alternative.

**Required permission:** `assigned_event_write` (when the authenticated user is assigned to the event) or `unassigned_event_write` (otherwise).
