# Set how many staff a package needs

`PATCH /api/v1/event_bookings/{event_booking_id}/update_staffing`

Overrides the number of staff this package needs, which otherwise comes from the service the package belongs to. Send a blank value to drop the override and go back to that default. Any explicit value must be at least 1.

**Required permission:** `assigned_event_write` (when the authenticated user is assigned to the event) or `unassigned_event_write` (otherwise).
