# X Follow Checker

`GET /v1/x/users/{source}/follows/{target}`

## Request

Check whether one X account follows another, in both directions, and whether the source can DM the target. Returns sourceFollowsTarget, targetFollowsSource, mutual and canDm. Costs 3 credits. Tip: canDm is X's own answer for this pair, so it can be true even when the target does not take DMs from strangers; check it before you spend on x.dm_send. Costs 3 credits.
