# Update a Slack integration

`POST /integration/slack/{slackIntegrationId}/update`

## Request

## Path parameters

- `slackIntegrationId` string, required: The ID of the Slack integration

## Request body

- object: A bot configuration that can be applied without a dedicated bot instance.
  - `alias` string, nullable: The unique alias for the instance
  - `name` string: The associated name
  - `description` string: The associated description
  - `meta` Meta: Meta data information
  - `blueprintId` string, nullable: The ID of the blueprint
  - `botId` string, nullable: The ID of the bot this configuration is using
  - `signingSecret` string: The signing secret for the Slack integration
  - `botToken` string: The bot token for the Slack integration
  - `userToken` string: The user token for the Slack integration
  - `contactCollection` boolean: Weather to collect contacts
  - `sessionDuration` number: The session duration for the Slack integration
  - `references` boolean: Whether to enable references feature
  - `ratings` boolean: Whether to enable ratings buttons feature
  - `visibleMessages` number: The number of visible messages outside of the new thread
  - `autoRespond` string: Configure automatic response behavior. Use '@all' to respond to all messages, '@agent <instructions>' for agent-powered decisions, or custom instructions for lightweight LLM filtering. Null/empty defaults to current behavior (DMs, mentions, threads only).
  - `allowFrom` string: Restrict which Slack users or channels can interact with this integration. Accepts Slack user IDs (U…/W…), channel IDs (C…/G…/D…), @username, or
