# List conversation messages

`GET /conversation/{conversationId}/message/list`

## Request

## Path parameters

- `conversationId` string, required: The ID of the conversation to list messages for

## Query parameters

- `cursor` string: The cursor to use for pagination
- `order` 'asc' | 'desc': The order of the paginated items
- `take` integer: The number of items to retrieve

## Response `200`

The messages were listed successfully

    - `createdAt` number, required: The timestamp (ms) when the instance was created

    - `type` 'user' | 'bot' | 'reasoning' | 'context' | 'instruction' | 'backstory' | 'activity' | 'checkpoint', required: The type of the message
    - `text` string, required: The text of the message
  - `cursor` string, required: Cursor for fetching the next page
