# Get iTunes Album Charts

`GET /api/charts/itunes/albums`

Return albums charting on iTunes for a given date, filterable by country and genre. Entries carry album metadata + chart position + `rankStats`.

## Query parameters

- `genre` string: Chart genre filter. Defaults to the un-segmented 'All Genres' chart when omitted.
- `country_code` string, required: ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code (2 letters, e.g. 'US', 'BR', 'GB').
- `date` string, date-time: Date for the time-slice (YYYY-MM-DD). Required unless `latest=true`.
- `offset` integer: Number of items to skip from the start of the result set; pair with `limit` to paginate.
- `latest` boolean: If true, use the most recently available date and ignore `date`.

      - `timestp` string, date-time, nullable: Timestamp of the chart row.
      - `duration` string, nullable: Chart duration window (e.g. `daily`, `weekly`, `monthly`).
      - `id` integer, nullable: iTunes chart row ID (legacy).
      - `name` string, nullable: Album name.
      - `image_url` string, nullable: Album cover image URL.
      - `upc` string, nullable: Universal Product Code identifying the release.
      - `release_date` string, date-time, nullable: Album release date.
      - `label` string, nullable: Record label that released the album.
      - `genre` string, nullable: Album genre on iTunes.
      - `added_at` string, date-time, nullable: Timestamp the chart row was inserted.
      - `country` string, nullable: Full country name corresponding to `code2`.
