# Leave a team

`DELETE /api/v1/teams/{teamId}/members/me`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://charm.ing`
- URL: `https://charm.ing/api/v1/teams/{teamId}/members/me`
- Auth: API key in cookie `__Secure-better-auth.session_token`

Session cookie required. Personal access tokens are not accepted. Removes the caller’s membership. Refused (relayed verbatim) when the caller is the team’s sole owner.

- `teamId` string, required

## Response `204`

Left the team.

## Other responses

- `400`: Refused — e.g. the caller is the sole owner.
- `401`: Sign-in required.
