# Get a financial account balance

`GET /v1/financial_accounts/{id}/balance`

Get a financial account balance by its unique identifier.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

The financial account was retrieved

- FinancialAccountBalance
  - `current_balance` number, required — The current balance is the amount of money in the account. This value is in minor currency units (USD cents).
  - `available_balance` number, required — The available balance is the amount of money in the account that is available to be spent or transferred. This value is in minor currency units (USD cents).
  - `timestamp` string, date-time, required — The time the balance was retrieved

## Other responses

- `400` — The request is invalid or contains invalid parameters
- `401` — Unauthorized. The request is missing the security (OAuth2 Bearer token) requirements and the server is unable to verify the identify of the caller.
- `403` — Access denied
- `404` — Resource Not Found
- `500` — Internal Server Error
