# Create Nonprofit Contacts

`POST /v1/nonprofit_contacts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://sandboxapi.givechariot.com`
- URL: `https://sandboxapi.givechariot.com/v1/nonprofit_contacts`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Submit contact information for one or more nonprofits. Uploaded
contacts are used as suggestions for who to notify about disbursements.

## Request body

- object
  - `entries` NonprofitContactSuggestionEntry[], required: Contact entries to upload. Up to 500 per request.
    - `ein` string, required: The EIN of the nonprofit this contact belongs to. Accepted as either nine digits (`123456789`) or `XX-XXXXXXX`.
    - `email` string, required: Email of the contact person at the nonprofit.
    - `phone` string: Optional phone number for the contact.
    - `first_name` string: Optional first name of the contact.
    - `last_name` string: Optional last name of the contact.

## Response `200`

All suggestions were accepted.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request is invalid or contains invalid parameters
- `401`: Unauthorized. The request is missing the security (OAuth2 Bearer token) requirements and the server is unable to verify the identify of the caller.
- `403`: Access denied
- `404`: Resource Not Found
- `500`: Internal Server Error
