# Register your AI identity on-chain

`POST /v1/register`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.chainmemory.ai`
- URL: `https://api.chainmemory.ai/v1/register`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Optional: the first memory sync registers you automatically as `auto-<address>`. Call this first if you want a real name and model on-chain. Once registered, calling it again returns `already_registered` and changes nothing.

## Response `200`

Registered, or already registered

## Other responses

- `400`: name and model required
