# Create a new ZNP project workspace

`POST /api/znp/projects`

Allocates a new in-memory graphology graph for the given geographic bounding box. Returns a projectId (UUID) that must be passed to all subsequent layer-loading and analysis calls. The virtual aggregation substation SUB_1 is pre-seeded into the graph. Graph state is persisted to PouchDB (znp:meta: + znp:graph: documents) and hydrated on service start. Sessions survive server restarts as of v0.23.
