# Validate tool parameters before execution

`POST /api/system/validate-params`

Pre-validation before expensive operations, error prevention. Validates parameters for any MCP tool before running it, returning detailed error messages and suggestions for corrections.

- `token` string

## Request body

  - `tool` string, required: MCP tool name to validate parameters for
  - `params` object, required: Parameters object to validate against the tool schema
  - `token` string: Optional Cernion MCP token for this request. Overrides CERNION_TOKEN when provided.

Validation result

  - `valid` boolean
  - `errors` string[]: List of validation errors (empty when valid)
  - `suggestions` string[]: Suggestions for fixing invalid parameters
