# Hard-remove a member from a community — data-entry correction only (#285)

`DELETE /api/energy-sharing-community/communities/:id/members/:memberId`

Removes the member record entirely. To end an active membership normally, use PUT /communities/:id/members/:memberId with validTo instead, which preserves history.
