# Sending Message

`POST /chat/v1/bots/{bot-ID}/messages`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://apis.cequens.com/conversation`
- URL: `https://apis.cequens.com/conversation/chat/v1/bots/{bot-ID}/messages`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Use this API to send a Text message or media message (Image, Video, Audio and Document) to your end-user. 
You can send a card message using your cards created in Cequens Chat.

## Path parameters

- `bot-ID` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `type` string, required: A type of the message "text " | "audio" | "document" | "image" | "video" | "custom"
  - `target` string, required: An identifier for the conversation between your Bot and end-user. It is included in the incoming message to your bot.
  - `payload` object: An object defines the text message to send
    - `type` string, required: A type of the message which is "text" in this case
    - `text` string, required: A string defines the Text message to send

## Response `200`

200
