# Get organization details

`GET /v3/accounts/organizations/{organization_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.platform.censys.io`
- URL: `https://api.platform.censys.io/v3/accounts/organizations/{organization_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Retrieve an organization's details, including the count of users broken down by [Platform-wide role](https://docs.censys.com/docs/role-based-access-control#platform-wide-roles) and organization settings such as AI training and MFA requirements. Set `include_modules` to true to include entitled modules, available roles, and seat capacity.<br><br>This endpoint does not cost any credits to execute.

## Path parameters

- `organization_id` string, uuid, required: The ID of a Censys organization. See the [Getting Started docs](https://docs.censys.com/reference/get-started#step-3-find-and-use-your-organization-id-optional) for more information.

## Query parameters

- `include_modules` boolean: Whether to include the organization's entitled modules, available roles, and seat capacity.
- `include_member_counts` boolean: Whether to include how many users are in this organization, split by Platform-wide role.

    - `member_counts` MemberCounts
      - `by_role` object, required: The number of users in the organization, split by Platform-wide role.
        - `admin` integer: The number of users with the admin role.
        - `api_access` integer: The number of users with the API access role.
      - `total` integer, required: The total number of users in the organization.
    - `modules` OrganizationModule[]: The modules this organization is entitled to. Only present when include_modules is true; empty when the organization has none.
      - `display_name` string, required: The display name of the module.
      - `included_with` string: The module whose roles grant access to this module, for example platform-search. Present only for modules included with another module, which have no roles or seats of their own.
      - `module` string, required: The module identifier.
      - `roles` ModuleRoleOption[], required: The roles this module offers.
        - `display_name` string, required: The display name of the role.
        - `role` string, required: The role identifier.
      - `seat_limit` integer: The number of seats the organization may fill in this module. Absent when unlimited or when the module is included with another module.
      - `seats_assigned` integer: The number of users currently assigned to this module. Absent when the module is included with another module.
    - `name` string, required: The name of the organization.
    - `preferences` OrganizationPreferences
      - `ai_opt_in` boolean: Whether the organization has opted into AI features.
      - `ai_training` boolean: Whether the organization has opted into AI training.
      - `mfa_required` boolean: Whether the organization has opted into multi-factor authentication.
    - `uid` string, uuid, required: The ID of a Censys organization.

## Other responses

- `401`: Request does not contain a valid Authorization token
- `403`: User does not have permission to access this data
- `404`: Organization not found
- `422`: Invalid organization ID
- `500`: Internal server error
