# Decode PIX EMV string

`POST /open-keys/itp/api/v2/payments/v4/payment-initiation/pix/emv`

Decodes a PIX EMV string to extract payment information such as receiver data, amount, city and additional information. Supports Central Bank of Brazil's EMV-QR Code standard for PIX instant payments.

## Request body

  - `emv` string, required: PIX EMV string containing encoded payment data according to Central Bank of Brazil's EMV-QR specification. This string encodes merchant information, payment amount, and other transaction details for PIX instant payments.

PIX EMV string decoded data successfully returned.

      - `original` string, required: Original transaction amount.
      - `abatement` string: Abatement amount.
      - `discount` string: Discount amount.
      - `interest` string: Interest amount.
      - `final` string, required: Final transaction amount.
      - `fine` string: Fine amount.
      - `canModifyFinalAmount` boolean, required: Indicates if the final amount can be modified.
      - `withdrawal` boolean: Indicates if the amount is for withdrawal.
      - `change` boolean: Indicates if the amount is for change.
    - `transactionIdentification` string, required: Transaction identification.
    - `payload` string: Additional transaction payload.

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication is required to access this resource. The client must provide valid credentials.
- `403`: The server understood the request but refuses to authorize it. Access is permanently forbidden and tied to the application logic.
- `409`: The request conflicts with the current state of the resource on the server.
- `422`: The request contains invalid or malformed data that cannot be processed.
- `500`: An unexpected error occurred on the server while processing the request.
- `default`: Unexpected error.
