# Get a call log's trace

`GET /observability/v1/call-logs/{id}/trace/`

Retrieve the raw OpenTelemetry trace associated with a production call log.

Before calling this tool, retrieve or list the call log and confirm that its `trace_id` is non-empty; an empty `trace_id` means no trace is available. Pass the call log's integer `id`, not its provider `call_id` or its `trace_id`.

## Path parameters

- `id` integer, required

## Response `200`

- CallLogTraceResponse
  - `trace_id` string, required: OpenTelemetry trace ID associated with the call log.
  - `spans` unknown, required

## Other responses

- `404`: The call log does not exist, has no trace ID, or its trace was not found.
