# Update a market

`PATCH /taxonomies/markets/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cavuno.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.cavuno.com/v1/taxonomies/markets/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Partial update. Changing slug auto-adds the previous slug to aliasSlugs and taxonomyAliases. Does not cascade to companies.markets arrays (rely on alias resolution).

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: The market's opaque object id (not the slug). Use list/create responses to obtain it.

## Response `200`

## Other responses

- `404`: Not found.
- `409`: Slug taken.
