# Delete a market

`DELETE /taxonomies/markets/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cavuno.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.cavuno.com/v1/taxonomies/markets/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Deletes the market taxonomy row. Companies may retain stale market slugs (by design).

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: The market's opaque object id (not the slug). Use list/create responses to obtain it.

## Response `204`

Deleted.

- `404`: Not found.
