# Delete an email sender domain

`DELETE /email-domains/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cavuno.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.cavuno.com/v1/email-domains/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Removes the sender domain. Board email goes back to the Cavuno address immediately; the DNS records can then be deleted.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: The email domain ID.

## Response `204`

Successful response.

## Other responses

- `403`: The plan does not include custom sender domains (`email_domains_plan_required`; Basic and above).
- `404`: Email domain not found.
- `502`: The email provider failed or is unavailable (`email_domains_provider_error`). Retry later.
