# Update a Backfill rule

`PATCH /backfill/rules/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cavuno.com/v1`

Partially update a Backfill rule. Omitted fields keep their current values, matching the dashboard edit form. The resulting rule must retain at least one card or nonempty structured filter. Requires an `Idempotency-Key` header.
