# Update Process Settings

`PUT /v2/nodes/{nodeid}/settings/process`

## Request

- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-access-token`
  - API key in header `x-access-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Update the Process settings on a folder. Required Permissions: Organisational Administrator

## Request body

- PutV2NodesNodeidSettingsProcessRequest
  - `definitionId` string, required: The BPM Definition Id of the process to be started
  - `deploymentId` string, required: The BPM Deployment Id of the process to be started
  - `mappings` object[], required: an Array of mapping objects as detailed below - one of the 3 value fields must be populated according to the process var type
    - `processVarName` string, required: The name of the process variable
    - `roleVal` string: ObjecetId of a Group of users
    - `userVal` string: ObjectId of a User
    - `metaTag` string: ObjectId of a MetaTag
