# Create Node

`POST /v1/nodes`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://docs.dev.causeway.com/api`

- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-access-token`
  - API key in header `x-access-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Create a node.

## Request body

- PostV1NodesRequest
  - `type` number, required: The type of node to be created
  - `name` string, required: The name of the node to be created
  - `parentid` string, required: The nodeid of the container (folder or root node) which the file will be uploaded in to
